For all his frustration and weariness with the chickens, he seemed to calm a bit at the gentle touches, like they drained the fight from him. Obediently, the large Maia followed alongside Círdan, two chickens in one arm and a third on his shoulder. Though the talons dug into him, he didn't seem to notice or mind; perhaps because he knew the bird would be dead soon. "I can make as many as your cooks would like. Better they be put to some sort of use."

“Best not to make too many, we already have livestock in the area and we do not have the population here that we did once upon a time,” it would be a shame for so much to go to waste.  He frowned as they drew closer to the buildings, he did not like the scent that carried on the wind.
