Ossë frowned a bit even as he tilted his head into the gentle stroking. As much as he appreciated the concern and the careful help, it still hit all the wrong chords to know he looked pitiful and had to be babied. The Great and Terrible Ossë, currently pitiful because he literally blew up a volcano in his own face. Just because he burned himself so horrifically that he was half-blinded and couldn’t move without pain and just because he got stomach pains when he ate didn’t mean he wasn’t terrible and awesome.

Oh, Father, he was pitiful.

He whined softly as he curled his lips into a small smile. “Really? I used you, you know, as inspiration for this form, to make certain I got the bone structure and face looking accurate and believable.” His hand lifted to lightly trace Círdan’s face as he spoke, along his temple and across to follow his cheekbone, sliding down his nose and lips to his chin. “It seemed appropriate to model it after someone I admired and enjoyed looking at.”

“I am glad you spared yourself some of the excess nose then,” he teased softly.  It was deeply flattering to know a fana had been modeled from him though he did not see so much of himself when he looked to his friend now, though perhaps the knowledge of the fëa within the fana changed things for him.  He grinned even as fingers traced over his lips.  "You also must have done so when I was much younger,“ Círdan added with a wink.

His hand smoothed along Ossë’s side as he spoke, following the contours of lean muscles and apparently not phased by the lack of clothing.  That much was rather common.  Leaning closer, he let his brow rest against his friends once more as his eyes closed.
