masteroftheseas:

“Mm, indeed, look what the tide washed in,” Ossë chattered. It had been some time since he’d last used this form, as he tried to limit its exposure. The more he was seen like this, the less mystery it held, and the more chances for people to start figuring things out. But a quiet evening in the privacy of Círdan’s rooms was harmless enough.

He trailed a hand over the Elf’s side and chest, adjusting to feeling things from different hands as he settled himself in. “Good. I’m glad we fit. Much better than my other ideas, too.” Tilting his head as he leaned closer, he nuzzled lightly at his friend. “I suppose that’s a benefit to the damage to my usual form. The chance to try other forms with you for a change.”

Círdan paused before grinning, slipping away from Ossë’s touch and climbing from the bed entirely.  He ventured to the door and outside of it, only missing for a few minutes before he returned.  This time he shut and locked the doors behind himself and had a rather pleased look about him.  "I told them I would appreciate privacy tonight and tomorrow,“ he explained as he climbed onto the bed once more.  "They may believe what they may but it will keep them from seeing this fana and destroying the illusion you have with it,” he knew Ossë had limited ways to go unnoticed among his elves and he did not wish to ruin that tonight.

He reached up, brushing some of his hair back from his face as he stretched out in front of the other.  "I enjoy all your forms, but I must say that I am most fond of the typical one, but I would not ask you to change to it.  I know it still needs to heal,“ and he was selfish with that as well.  He was enjoying their night together and did not wish to resume worrying over the wounds that covered the blue skinned fana.
