masteroftheseas

Ossë snorted and grinned as he arched a delicate brow. "Mm, yes, it's all about the circulation of the currents and microorganisms to keep the diversity dispersed throughout all the sea," he said, though any attempt to sound serious or knowledgeable was lost with how many times he stumbled and snickered over his words. "Not many people can comprehend how vital my role is in that. This is why I like you." He turned to look towards the watchtower. "What does it look like from the surface?"

It was a feat unto itself that Círdan kept a straight face, but he had to give Ossë credit for how he described the duty.  It was a valid point and it was certainly one that was important.  "It looks … violent,“ he frowned a little, a furrow forming between his brows.  "The waves, the storms.  It roars and cracks and bellows and I can only hope it never comes ashore or closer to our fishing boats.  I know my craftsmanship is sound but I do not think it could stand up to those waves and winds.”
