Ossë pressed against the light touch, nuzzling at Círdan's fingers. "I'm fine," he assured softly, gaze darting briefly around at others nearby. "I'll explain later. Tuna sounds delightful, though. And I imagine you actually /prepare/ it here." He chuckled again and took another careful sip of soup, raising his voice from his whispers. "I tried cooking once for some of my siblings, but they made me promise not to torture them so again. Some people can't appreciate liberal use of spices."

“Of course we prepare it, we do not have the same fierce tastes or gullets as the creatures of the sea otherwise,” he chuckled.  It was actually rather fun to share the double conversation while others remained oblivious to the true nature of his companion for the evening.  Normally, Círdan was quite careful while eating since he did not like to spill or dribble anything into his beard but at the idea of Ossë cooking, he laughed and did just that.  Quickly he raised his napkin to collect what had landed on his chin, glancing over to the other.  "I would have enjoyed seeing that.“
